We are very fortunate to have strategic partnerships that help us grow, develop and improve our community. We believe that by working with these partners, it assists in building a strong vibrant community for all who live in Bonavista Downs.
Our partnerships include the Trico Centre, City of Calgary, and Calgary Police Services.
For over 40 years, the Bonavista Downs Community Association, a volunteer organization, has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our community by providing programs and services that meet the needs of our members, of all ages.
We are always looking for volunteers to join our Board of Directors or help out at community events. Throughout the year, we have a variety of events that depend on the support of our community members. Helping out for a few hours at the Easter Egg Hunt, Family Fun Day or joining the Recreational Team to ensure the ice is in great condition are all a part of helping to enrich our great community.
Visit the 'Contact Us' page and send us a message to let us know that you would like to become a volunteer.
Want to try your hand at gardening? Our Gathering Garden is located next to the tennis courts. It is made up of individual plots that members can lease for the growing season.
If you would like to grow your own fruits or veggies, you don’t need to have a green thumb; no experience is necessary. You will learn various tips and tricks from other gardeners in our community.
